Brighter Futures for Children

 

Our pre-school comes under the authority of Reading Borough Council.  Their children's services team are called Brighter Futures for Children.

3 & 4 year-olds are entitled to 15 hours of funding the term after their 3rd birthday and some parents are eligible for targeted or working parent 2 year-old funding.

From September 2025, working parent funded children will be entitled to 30-hour funding.  However, due to staff ratios and our circumstances as a packaway setting, we are unable to accomodate 2 year-olds for 30 hours.  2 year-olds will only be able to do 15 hours spread over 5 mornings.  Subject to availability, they will be able to increase to 30-hours the term after they turn 3.
